This is a regulation length 9 hole golf course. Its short layout provides good shots and fun for everyone. This course was designed by John M Sayles in 1935 as part of the Star Lake Inn. This is a par 36, with a slope of 106, and a course rating of 32.6. The driving range for the course is adjacent to the 5th and 7th holes of play. The Clifton-Fine Municipal golf course exercises an open policy towards guests. Despite being extremely short, this course offers challenges in the form of narrow fairways, thick roughs, abundant wooded areas, and very small greens. This course can provide a fun outing to almost any golfer; in fact, pretty much the only downside is that the course has only nine holes. In order to compensate for that, the course constructed several alternate tee boxes so that if you wanted to play 18 holes, you would be able to play slightly different holes, even if they share a green.

Greens fees are approximately $11.50 on weekdays and $13.00 on weekends. Cart rental rates as follows: 9 holes - pull cart: $2.00, 18 holes - pull cart: $3.00; Gas cart Single rider: $15.00 Double: $23.00.
This course supports the community as the home golf course for the local high-school's Varsity golf team.picture.JPG

The men's league plays on Tuesdays, taking up most of the course for most of the day. Women's league plays on Thursday mornings, also known as women's day. Friday nights there is a couple's league which, once again keeps most of the course busy. These leagues finish in the late summer with club championships for men's and women's leagues, and a night golf outing for couple's league.
